How We Organize Our PADI Instructor Development Course
- E-learning, classroom sessions, Confined Water, and Open Water training are all fully integrated into the course.
- Confined Water training takes place in a swimming pool located directly opposite the classroom for maximum convenience.
- Open Water training is conducted in the same lake environment used for the practical sections of the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), giving you valuable familiarity with the conditions.
- You can store your scuba equipment at our dive center throughout the course.
- Lunch is available on-site, so you can make the most of your training days.
- Accommodation options are available within easy walking or short driving distance from the dive center.
Prerequisites for Enrolling in the PADI Instructor Development Course
- PADI Divemaster or Assistant Instructor, or hold an equivalent professional-level certification from another recognized training organization.
- Have been a certified diver for at least six months and have logged a minimum of 100 dives, including experience in deep diving, underwater navigation, and night diving.
- Own a complete set of personal scuba equipment, including a mask, snorkel, fins, compass, surface marker buoy (SMB), and whistle.
- Hold a current Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care certification, or an equivalent first aid and CPR qualification.
- Provide a valid medical statement confirming your fitness to dive, issued within the last 12 months.

Our Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor training includes the following instructor certifications:
- Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor
- Care for Children (CFC) Instructor
- CPR & AED Instructor
This means you’ll graduate with the qualifications needed to teach a wide range of first aid, CPR, AED, and Care for Children courses alongside your professional scuba instructor certifications.
Is 100% success guaranteed in the PADI Instructor Examination?
The claim of “100% success guarantee” is often used in marketing for PADI IDC programs.
However, the reality is that true success cannot be guaranteed, because it ultimately depends on you—your study, your preparation, and especially how closely you follow your Course Director’s guidance.
That said, our Course Director provides thorough and structured preparation, sharing all the key learning strategies needed to succeed. This ensures that the PADI Instructor Examination (IE) is approached with confidence, clarity, and without surprises.
Thanks to this approach, all of our past instructor candidates have successfully passed the PADI IE, achieving excellent results.
What could be seen as a limitation depending on the candidate’s expectations?
Honestly, the area for fun dives—that is, recreational diving—has its limitations. The Adriatic Sea in front of Venice still offers many surprises, as you can read in the section about the Tegnùe reefs and shipwrecks. From a biological point of view, it is truly spectacular.
However, we do suffer from relatively low underwater visibility, which makes destinations such as Liguria, Sicily, or Malta clearly more attractive in that regard.
But we are here to learn, right? 🙂

Is the preparation to become a MSDT included?

lease note that to become a PADI Master Scuba Diving Instructor, the five PADI Instructor Specialties included in our offer are not sufficient on their own. You must also actively work as an instructor and certify at least 25 students with your instructor certification.
Of course, since you already start with five specialties—and therefore a wider range of courses you can offer—this can significantly reduce the time needed to reach the 25 certifications required.
