PADI Scuba Diving Instructor Course Program Schedule
Below you will find an example table of the PADI IDC schedule and program for our dates. Some key abbreviations to help you understand it:
- CW or “Confined Water”: time dedicated to learning how to teach skills in a pool or confined water setting.
- OW or “Open Water”: the open water equivalent of pool skills training conducted in the sea.
- KD or “Knowledge Development”: sessions in which you learn how to respond to the theoretical questions your students will be asked.
- “Assignments or e-learning to be completed before” (homework): in this section, you will prepare CW, OW, or KD presentations and complete assigned study materials and e-learning modules.
The days marked as Instructor Specialty include a minimum of two days, as shown in the schedule. Naturally, this depends on the number of specialties you choose.
